Both Roanoke Rapids JV basketball teams were in action in the Hive Friday evening.

The JV girls lost to Franklinton 9-31.

Roanoke Rapids leading scores were: Katherine Clayton with 5 points, Kamryn Little with 2 points, Reauna Robinson with 2 points.

The JV boys continued their winning streak by beating Franklinton 59-50.

Roanoke Rapids leading scorers were: Paul Whitby with 19 points, TJ Scott with 15 points, Zack Vincent with 14 points. Quincy Vann with 9 points and Deraj Watson with 2 points.
