Both girls and boys varsity basketball teams lost to Warren County Tuesday night.

The girls  lost 49-60.

Roanoke Rapids Leading scorers were: Alizea Neville with 16 points, Michelle Stewart with 10 points, Anna Vann with 8 points, Camden Bierbauer with 2 points, Haley Farrow with 7 points and Abbi  Carpenter with 6 points.

The boys lost 55-60.

Roanoke Rapids leading scorers were: Tyjarek Simmons with 13 points, Semja Smith with 9 points, and Taylor Norton with 8 points.

Post game comments from head coach Tyler Snyder, " We had too many turnovers and they took advantage of them. We need to communicate better also. On a positive from the game, we did another job of rebounding."
