Halifax Academy Varsity Lady Vikings traveled to Henderson Saturday afternoon to battle Oakwood for the CIC conference tournament championship.

Halifax beat Oakwood 60-49 to win the Coastal Independent Conference (CIC) Championship.

Halifax leading scorers were: Candice Smith with 17 points, Kelly Williams with 15 points, Kim Shearin with 14 points, Drew Rose with 7 points, Kate Starnes with 5 points and Maddie Suiter with 2 points.
