The Roanoke Rapids Lady Jackets soccer team traveled to Durham School of the Arts (DSA) Wednesday evening to open conference play.

Jackets Harley Shearin's three goals hat trick was enough to win the match 3-1.

Shearin's goals were assisted by Chloe Wilson, Madison Archer and Kaitie Smith.

Head coach Craig Jean post match comments, "Anytime you go to Durham and get a conference win, it is a good thing. I am very pleased with the performance of every player. I'm looking forward to our tough test Saturday at the Brittany"
