The Roanoke Rapids JV Baseball team earned their first win of the season Friday night at home.
The Yellow Jackets shutout the Warren County Eagles 6-0 to not only earn their first win of the season but win a conference game.
Jake Van Dam earned the win on the mound allowing no runs off of five hits, four walks and six strike-outs in seven innings.
For the Jackets at the plate, Payton Jackson had a single and a double, Aaron Jackson with a triple, Cameron Medlin, Cameron Salmon, Caleb Johnson eac had a single.
The JV Jackets are 1-2 overall and 1-0 in conference.
