Halifax Academy beat the 3A school Eastern Wayne 5-3.

For Halifax Abby George had 2 goals and 2 assists, while Kim Shearin, Whitney George and Shay Edwards had a goal apiece.

Head coach Tim George post match comments,"The defense was tested today against a bigger team. We came ready to play today and continue to improve. Jordan Strickland has come a long way in a few short weeks and is really establishing herself already as our keeper. The offense is starting to work better together and it's showing with the results."
