The Roanoke Rapids Lady Jackets softball team traveled to Durham School of the Arts Tuesday to face the Bulldogs.
The pitching duo of Breanna Allen and Kimmie Etheridge pitched a no hitter in the 3 inning 24-0 win.
Allen started on the mound pitching the first two innings allowing no runs, no hits and tallied five strike-outs while Etheridge allowed no runs, no hits and had three strike-outs.
The Jackets earned 25 runs off 21 hits at the plate. Those hits were as followed: Kimmie Etheridge was 2-2 with 2 RBI's (single-double), Sierra Hearo was 2-2 with 1 RBI (single-triple), Breanna Allen was 2-3 with 3 RBI's, Taylor Medlin was 2-2 with 1 RBI, Abby Acree was 2-2 with 1 RBI (2 doubles), Kaitlin Rogerson was 2-3 with w RBI's, Lauren Oliver was 2-2, Brooke McCleany was 1-2 with 4 RBI's (double), Ashley Ivey was 1-1 with 2 RBI's, Meagan Colston was 1-2 with 1 RBI, Camden Bierbauer was 1-2 with 1 RBI, Michelle Stewart was 1-3, Dakota Etheridge was 1-1 with 2 RBI's (double), Abbi Carpenter was 1-1 with 2 RBI's.
