The Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets Varsity Baseball team picked up a road conference win at DSA Tuesday night by a score of 12-2. 

Logan Jackson picked up the win on the mound by pitching 3 innings and striking out 6 batters. Josh Elias got the save by pitching 3 innings and striking out 7 batters. 

The Yellow Jackets offense had 12 hits on the night from nine different batters. Leading Hitters were:  Bracy Irby with an inside the park homerun and a double with 2 RBI, Colby Warren with a double and single and 4 RBI, and Zack Connell with two singles and 1RBI. 

With the win the Yellow Jackets improve to 3-2 overall and 2-0 in the Northern Carolina Conference.

RRHS will be back in action on Friday night at home against Bunn.  The JV game starts at 4:30 with the Varsity game to follow.
