The Roanoke Rapids Lady Yellow Jackets soccer team hosted a conference match against the NC school of Science and Math team at Hoyle field Monday night.

Roanoke Rapids tied NCSSM 1-1 in overtime.

Harley Shearin scored the lone goal for Roanoke Rapids with Kaitie Smith assist.

Post match comments by head coach Craig Jean, "My players played extremely hard for another 100 minutes versus a quality soccer program. I am proud of the product we are putting on the field."
