It appears the Southampton Speedway just across the state line in Southampton County will be reopening and ready for racing in 2017.

Officials are in the final stages of finalizing this deal. It's a process. Waiting on information and schedules to clear. The investor and the owner are in daily contact and both parties will finalize in less than a few weeks.

The future of Southampton Speedway is in very good hands. The investor is deeply rooted in racing. He has several touring series teams. These series prefer to race more short tracks on their circuit. He is hope is to bring more touring series to Southampton and to save this special track.

BIG NEWS moving forward

Southampton will be having our Stock Car racing events on SATURDAY, not Friday as originally decided. And on Fridays, they will host our Full Throttle Friday Night Street Legal Drag Races.

Southampton will remain asphalt.
