The Roanoke Rapids Lady Jackets Varsity softball team stung the Franklinton Red Rams Thursday night on the road.

The Yellow Jackets won 9-1 over the Rams.

Hunter Martin earned the win from the mound pitching all seven innings allowing 1 run off of 3 hits with 11 strike-outs and 4 walks.

The Lady Jackets tallied 10 hits at the plate, they were: Abbi Carpenter had 2 singles and a triple with 1 RBI, Hunter Martin had a single and a triple with 1 RBI, Breanna Allen had 3 singles with 1 RBI, Jordan Carpenter had a triple, while Kimmie Etheridge had a single.
