The Halifax Academy JV baseball team fell at home Friday to Ridgecroft.

Ridgecroft won 18-5 in five innings.

Bryce Cooke pitched 3 1/3 innings with 5 walks, 1 strike-out and 1 hit by pitch;  Jesse Rose pitched 1/3 inning with 3 walks and 1 strike-out;  Justin Conner pitched 1/3 inning with 3 walks; Luke pitched 1 inning with 3 walks.

Hardee, Podruchney, Conner, Elder, Rodwell all had singles with Cooke with one double, Rose with a single and double, while  Wood had a triple.
