The RRHS Varsity Baseball team fell on the road at Bunn on Tuesday night by a score of 10-3. 

Colby Warren took the loss for the Yellow Jackets. Josh Elias finished the game by pitching 3 1/3 scoreless innings. 

The Yellow Jackets started off strong by scoring 3 runs in the first inning. Cameron Rogerson scored on a wild pitch. Hunter Connell scored on an RBI double by Dylan Allen. Allen then scored on a single by Logan Jackson. Unfortunately that would be all the offense RRHS would be able produce. 

Bunn scored 6 runs in the second inning to take the lead and finished off the scoring with 4 more runs in the third inning. 

Head coach Mark Snead stated, "We did not play our best game tonight. You cannot do that and beat a team the quality of Bunn.  Now we have to refocus and get ready for South Granville. A good team takes failure and turns it into greater success. We will come back stronger from this."

RRHS drops to 14-3 overall and 9-1 in the Northern Carolina Conference. The Yellow Jackets next game is Thursday at South Granville.
