Emporia based U14 travel baseball team TopHand with several Valley players (Ethan Dixon, Ethan Vincent, Colin Long and Cameron Medlin) held a fundraiser Saturday to help fund travels to Myrtle Beach to play in July.

With the help from coaches and parents, just over 100 Boston butts were cooked and sold, while six softball teams battled the rain on the field for three game guarantee double elimination slow pitch tournament.

Jason Brown won a new Louisville Slugger Z4000 softball bat while Curt Cooke won a AR-15/223 Rifle while team Insane Membranes outlasted the other teams to earn the Championship on the field.

Tournament organizer Tracy Medlin the TopHand team and parents wanted to thank the community for the support towards making the tournament a huge success and supporting what these boys love doing (playing baseball).
