The Roanoke Rapids Recreation-Roanoke Rapids High Baseball Camp wrapped up Thursday at Doyle Field.

This year there were 20 players who attended the camp. The camp worked on baseball fundamental and life lessons. The camp was led by RRHS Varsity Baseball coach Mark Snead.  He was helped by Assistant Coach Tyler Snyder and former RRHS and current UNCW player Clay Lockamon.

Coach Mark Snead stated, "This was another great camp week. I want to thank the 20 young men who attended this year. They were well behaved and worked really hard for us coaches. We stressed fundamentals, lessons about being a good young man and teammate, and most importantly having fun. We had a good mix of returning and first time campers. It is great to watch these young men grow and mature from year to year. I look forward to continue to watch them all grow on and off the field. I love hearing the campers on the last day say they wish we could do it again next week and that they will come back next year. That makes us coaches smile."
