Rising Roanoke Rapids High school senior Colby Warren is headed to Atlanta today for baseball thanks to many Roanoke Valley supporters. 

Warren is traveling with the Carolina Cubs showcase travel baseball team to the wood bat tournament "Perfect Game" 2016 WWBA National Championship in Atlanta, Georgia July 1st-14th.

Perfect Game USA is devoted to furthering the development and career of talented high school baseball players. The most respected scouting service in the baseball industry.

Teams will play 7 pool games in the first 6 days of the tournament, while the 16th will consist of just playoffs and the 17th will only have the final four teams playing.

Warren and his family would personally like to thank the community for coming out and supporting the bake sale and Boston Butt fundraiser at Probuild and the many donations that they received for chance to play baseball. They would also like to personally thank Mike Love, Rusty and Becky Carroll, Leonard and Cheryl Edwards, Annahmarie White, Graham and Ella Vee Warren and Debbie Pittman for your help and Contributions.
