22 year old Roanoke Rapids resident 4th Degree Master William Odom participated in the AAU National Taekwondo Event in Ft Lauderdale Florida July 4th - 8th. 

Odom placed 3rd in Forms this past Friday winning a Bronze medal.

Odom, who trains at Carolina Taekwondo Martial Arts in New Bern, NC, under Grand Master Cann said in a statement. "I would like to say thank you to my Parents Henry & MeLinda Odom. my Family, Friends, Grand Master Cann, Hama, Carolina Taekwondo, RRSPIN ,and my Sponsors Discount Tire, & Greg Riggan.
