Northeast-Hobgood Academy football team won the NCISAA 1A State Championship Saturday afternoon.
NHA beat Halifax Academy 25-24 Saturday in Kinston for the championship title. The two teams had played each other twice during the regular season. Halifax won both of those games, but NHA won the one that earns the 1A NCISAA Staye Championship title.
