Valley Cheer All Stars were awarded 2 wild card bids to the D2 Summit in Orlando, Florida.

Both the Junior and Senior teams were awarded these coveted bids as a result of earning the highest D2 scores in their age divisions at the Cheer Ltd Holiday Open Championship held in Raleigh, NC on 12/3.

The D2 Summit is a prestigious event that can only be attended if you receive a bid. Bids are awarded based on scores at qualifying competitions. Earning these bids gives these Roanoke Valley athletes the opportunity to compete against the best D2 Allstar teams from across the nation!

The athletes, coaches and parents of Valley Cheer All Stars are very excited for this opportunity to showcase the talent of our area on this national stage.

“This is a goal that we’ve been working towards for many years. It makes me very proud to see all of their hard work and dedication pay off!” says Valley Cheer owner, Heather Merritt.

The D2 Summit will take place on May 11-13, at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
