The Northampton County Jaguars Varsity baseball team fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 17-2 loss to South Creek on Thursday.

South Creek scored on a stolen base, a home run, a walk, and a single in the first inning.

The Northampton County Jaguars struggled to contain the high-powered offense of South Creek, giving up 17 runs.

South Creek scored 11 runs in the second inning powered the big inning with RBIs.

Malik Robertson started the game for the Jaguars. He surrendered five runs on three hits over one-third of an inning, striking out one. Derrick Daye, Jaquan Copeland, and Evan Parks each contributed in relief for Northampton County Jaguars.

Northampton County Jaguars racked up five hits on the day. Gerald Drew and Saeed Lawerence each had multiple hits for Northampton County. Lawerence and Drew all had two hits to lead Northampton County.

South Creek had 11 hits in the game. #2 and #7 all had multiple hits for South Creek. #2 went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead South Creek in hits.
