The Halifax/Northampton Youth Football League is gearing up for it's 2016 season. This years jamboree is set for Saturday September 10th at Roanoke Rapids High starting at 10 AM.
The Roanoke Rapids Parks and Recreation Department will host a local competition for NFL PP&K (Punt, Pass, and Kick) on September 22nd at Doyle Field.
Both Halifax Academy JV and Varsity volleyball teams go to final set Tuesday at home against Oakwood, but both fall.
The Roanoke Valley Youth Soccer Association is now taking registrations for the 2016 Fall and 2017 Spring season through September 2, 2016.
