Halifax Community College will host an Allied Healthcare Job Fair and invites students and the community to attend.

Given the constant demand to fill allied healthcare roles, HCC will host a wide variety of healthcare and partner agencies on March 31 in the Griffin Centre on campus.

The free event is open exclusively to HCC students from 10 a.m.  to 11:30 a.m. and to the general public from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“The Allied Healthcare Job Fair at Halifax Community College will offer something for every healthcare student and employer. Upcoming May graduates can look for immediate job opportunities,” said HCC Acting President and VP of Administrative Services/CFO David Forester. “First-year students and community members can begin learning about potential future employers and the opportunities available to them in high demand fields in healthcare. Halifax Community College is pleased to be offering for the first time in its history a job fair for all of its allied health programs as a one-day event.”

While the list of agency participants is not set, representatives from hospitals, correctional institutions and healthcare agencies have signed up to participate.
