Once again, Coaches, volunteers and children beat the heat Saturday morning on the Grid Iron at Roanoke Rapids Recreation T.J. Davis Doyle Field.

Weldon native and Duke University football standout Cedric Jones returned to the Roanoke Valley with his "Cedric Jones You Can Too Foundation's Second Annual youth football camp.

The You Can Too Foundation, a charitable organization started by former Duke football standout and Weldon native Cedric Jones hosted the camp. Many of Jone's friends, family, former Duke players, NFL and college players and former Weldon and Roanoke Rapids high players, Weldon and KIPP coaches made up his coaching staff.

Foundation Vice president Matt Hux and wife Nichole along with board members Ginny Lewis and Phil Hux have helped line things up localy with sponsors, location, kids, paperwork and non coaching event staff lined up.
