The National Weather Service is reporting that low relative humidity values and frequent wind gusts will result in an increased risk of fire danger this afternoon.

Relative humidity values of 25 to 30 percent are predicted along with wind gusts of between 25 to 30 mph.

Erratic fire behavior can quickly get out of control.

The NWS advises to check with the local burn-permitting authority to determine whether you may burn outdoors.

Exercise extreme caution if you do burn.
