The final suspect in a series of break-ins from as early as November was apprehended Monday and faces numerous counts.
The arrest of Antonio Diraz Burchette after he fled from a car and into the woods in the Faulcon Road of the Littleton area stems from an initial investigation of a breaking and entering that occurred on Highway 4 in the Littleton area.
The items taken were recovered and warrants were issued for the arrests of Burchette and Trevonta Asharay Lynch, 21, of Roanoke Rapids, according to Detective R. Somogyi of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.

Lynch
Lynch was arrested in December after he was found hiding in a house in the Faulcon Road area and is awaiting a February 8 court date. He is charged with three break-ins.
Meanwhile, further investigation led Somogyi to link Burchette to other break-ins in northern Halifax County and he obtained 12 additional warrants while Burchette had fled to Virginia.
On Monday Somogyi received information Burchette had returned to North Carolina and was possibly back in the Faulcon Road area.
A vehicle matching the description of the one he was on was given and Somogyi and Detective O. Wiltsie initiated a trafic stop.
The passenger, later identified as Burchette, fled from the vehicle and entered into the woods.
A perimeter was set up and Deputy J. Keeter and his dog Brodie responded, finding Burchette, who was charged with 15 counts of breaking and entering, 12 counts of larceny after breaking and entering and 12 counts of possession of stolen property.
Burchette, 20, of Littleton, was jailed on $350,000 bond and has a February 8 court date.
Somogyi said some of the property has been located and returned. Investigation continues and additional charges are pending.
