The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is  investigating two crimes which occurred at cellular service stores.

Investigator Hayden Marshall said in a statement one of the crimes involves a woman using false information to obtain electronic devices.

This occurred at U.S. Cellular.

In the second case, Marshall is investigating a crime in which a person passed at counterfeit bill at Cricket Wireless.

Chief Bobby Martin said this afternoon it is not believed the crimes are related.
