The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division is currently seeking the public’s assistance in locating Kevin Macias, 22, of Roanoke Rapids.

The charges stem from a search warrant served in July by the sheriff’s office and the Roanoke Rapids Police Department Criminal Investigation Division in the 2400 block of West Tenth Street, sheriff’s office Agent D.R. Radford said in a statement.

A firearm seized from the residence was determined to have been stolen in September 2017 during a residential break-in.

Radford has obtained a warrant for arrest on Macias for possession of a stolen firearm.

Radford said the man tends to frequent areas in Roanoke Rapids.
