The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reported the following, according to Captain A.M. Harris:

Thursday shortly before 7 p.m., narcotics agents with assistance from the Scotland Neck Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of East Thirteenth Street. Agents D.J. Epperson and C.A. Parker received information of possible drug activity taking place at the residence and continued to follow-up. During the investigation a search warrant was applied for and granted.

Approximately 40 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, other drug paraphernalia, an AR-15 and two handguns were seized.

Parker has obtained warrants for the arrest of Andrea White, 53, of the residence for possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for a controlled substance.

White frequents areas of Scotland Neck. No mugshot was available.

This afternoon around 1 p.m. agents executed a search warrant at 301 Market on South McDaniel Street after receiving information from Enfield police Officer P. Pierce about a clerk reportedly selling drugs from behind the counter.

Agents R.E. Ball and D.K. Newsome conducted the investigation and were granted a search warrant.

During the search of Mohamed Abdo Ali Mubarez, 20, of Enfield, drug paraphernalia  — a digital scale with residue — was seized.

Mubarez was cited with a North Carolina Uniform Citation for possession of marijuana paraphernalia and received a January 27 court date.
