One person has been arrested and two more are being sought in a robbery which occurred in the area of Chockoyotte Street on October 26.

Roanoke Rapids police Chief Bobby Martin said a firearm and knife were used in the robbery in which the victims were assaulted and personal items were taken.

Tevin Taylor of Roanoke Rapids has been charged with three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, three counts of possession of stolen property and two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery.

He received a $50,000 bond and December 2 court date.

Also being sought and facing the same charges as Taylor are Aaron Powell, 21, and Marcus Hawkins,29, both of Roanoke Rapids.

Martin said Powell and Hawkins tend to frequent areas in Roanoke Rapids. He said there has been no evidence to suggest the three knew the victims.
