The Roanoke Rapids Police Department continues to follow-up on a May 6 shooting which occurred in the 200 block of Monroe Street.

Investigative Sergeant G.L. Williams said in a statement investigators need assistance in identifying a photo of a woman possibly involved in the case.

At the time officers discovered a male victim sustained a gunshot wound to his upper body. The injury was not life-threatening, police said at the time.

Williams said the victim is OK.
