The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reported the following, according to Captain A.M. Harris:
On Thursday shortly after 2 p.m. narcotics agents of the sheriff’s office and Roanoke Rapids Police Department executed a search warrant on Land Street.
The search warrant was based on an investigation by sheriff’s office Agent H.G. Phillips after complaints of possible drug activity were received.
During the search of the home agents seized methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Today warrants were served on Ashley Jones, 38, of the residence, for possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jones received a $15,000 bond with a July 21 court date.
Today shortly after 10:30 a.m. agents from both the sheriff’s office and police department executed a search warrant in the 1000 block of Franklin Street. Phillips also investigated this case due to drug complaints.
Agents seized methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Phillips arrested and charged Aaron Klock, 38, of the residence with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for a controlled substance.
Klock received a $15,000 bond with a July 28 court date.
