The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is currently investigating a case involving a larceny that occurred Friday outside a business at Eighth Street and Roanoke Avenue.
Investigative Sergeant Gorton Williams said around 7:30 p.m. a woman picked up a customer’s wallet in the parking lot and failed to return it.

The woman was operating a dark-colored SUV.
