Governor Roy Cooper has appointed W. Rob Lewis II to serve as district court judge in Judicial District 6, serving Bertie, Halifax, Hertford and Northampton counties.
He will fill the vacancy created by the election of Brenda Branch to superior court judge.
“Judge Rob Lewis brings years of experience on the bench, in his law practice and throughout his community,” Governor Cooper said. “I’m thankful for his willingness to serve once again as a District Court Judge in our state.”
Lewis is currently a partner at Lewis Law Offices, PLLC.
Previously, he served as chief district court judge and district court judge in Judicial District 6-B. He earned his bachelor of science and his M.S.
