Two Enfield men who failed to appear in court Friday on weapon and assault charges are wanted by the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office after a judge issued an order for their arrests.

Lieutenant Shane Guyant said Dmarze Crishaun Harris, 31, of and Jimell Contrell Horton, 38, were scheduled for a district court appearance on charges related to a shooting that occurred in Enfield earlier in April.

The men, who have been added to the county’s most wanted page, face charges of possession of a firearm by a felon, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, injury to real property, injury to personal property, going armed to the terror of the public, and discharging a weapon within the city limits of Enfield. 

Harris’s last known address was on Branch Street in Enfield and Horton’s was Jupiter Lane in Enfield.
