The Weldon in Action group will meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Halifax Community College, Building 800. 

Guests speakers will be Halifax County Sheriff Tyree Davis and Weldon Police Chief Christopher Davis. They will discuss safety issues in Weldon.  

The public is invited to attend.
