The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is looking for a man who on Friday threatened to shoot employees at an undisclosed business in the area of East Tenth Street and Park Avenue.

Chief Shane Guyant said the man never displayed a weapon but was armed with a large fixed-blade knife secured to his hip.
The man threatened the employees shortly after 3 p.m. and was last seen leaving the area on a bicycle.
