A Scotland Neck man wanted for armed robbery and attempted murder in Pitt County was located in the Roanoke Rapids area Monday, according to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.
Captain Scott Hall said Dantavious Parker, 24, was located by agents of the Halifax Regional Drug and Gang Task Force, HCSO investigators, the HCSO Special Response Team and agents with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.

During the search for Parker agents executed a search warrant and located multiple firearms, ammo and drug paraphernalia.
Parker had been wanted in an armed robbery and shooting that occurred in Pitt County in December at a gas station in which a victim was shot.
Parker was jailed without the opportunity for bond on a hold from Pitt County and was also charged with a misdemeanor parole violation.
He has a January 23 district court date in Halifax and a January 25 court date in Pitt County.
