Eula Virginia Jenkins Shearin, 88, of Littleton, went to be with her Lord Friday, December 20, 2019.

Eula was born October 19, 1931, in Halifax County to the late Clarence Jenkins and Ruby Shearin Jenkins. 

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Shearin; and her granddaughters, Jessica Stroud and Christal Chambliss.

Eula was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking, her garden, running her business, her family and friends, taking pictures and writing cards and letters. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church in Littleton.

Eula is survived by her children, Sybil Chambliss and her husband Charles of Roanoke Rapids, Beverly Allen and her husband James, Paula Livingston and her husband James and Jeffrey Shearin and his wife Terry all of Littleton; her sisters, Daisy Newsome of Littleton, Betsy Rains of Lexington and Lydia Pittman of Littleton; forty-three grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, December 22, 2019 in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Gary Ogburn officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery in Littleton.
