Rueben Wayne Lewis, 70, of Roanoke Rapids, NC died Monday, July 27, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Lewis was born in Halifax County, the son of the late Murphy Rugene Lewis and Gracie Taylor Lewis. 

He was a Vietnam War Army Veteran and a retired pipe fitter. 

His brother and sister-in law, Thomas and Carol Lewis, also his cousin Clif Lewis, preceded him in death.

Surviving are: his son, Christopher W. Lewis of Roanoke Rapids, NC; a granddaughter, Ava Lewis of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and special friends Wayne and Sherry Odom of Roanoke Rapids, NC

The Family will receive at Wrenn Clarke& Hagan Funeral and Cremation Service, Thursday July 30, 2020, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Wrenn Clarke & Hagan Funeral and Cremation Service, Friday, July 31, 2020, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Randy Martin, officiating.
