Marvin Page Clary, 85, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Vidant North Hospital.

A native of Brunswick County, Marvin was the last surviving of six children of Renza and Sophia Clary. 

He was a lifelong member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church, one of the founders and Lifetime Member of the Central Rescue Squad and also a Lifetime Member of the Gasburg Volunteer Fire Department. 

Marvin and Louise owned and operated M&L Grocery for many years.

Marvin is survived by his loving wife Louise Clary of 61 years, two sons; Dennis P. Clary, Dean Clary and his wife Sandra, grandchildren; Adam Clary and his wife Kristina, Brittany Abel and her husband Chris, great-grandchildren; Kali and Kaci Clary. 

On a sunny day you could find Marvin riding his golf cart and supervising the garden.  He also was an avid Nascar fan always watching every race and scratching off his lottery tickets.  Marvin loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

Graveside Services will be held Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Old Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery in Gasburg with Minister Gregg Hand officiating.
