Thomas Lewis Vincent, 87, died Monday, January 4, 2021 at his home.

Lewis was a native of Northampton County, the son of the late Herbert Lewis Vincent and Mary Etta Gay Vincent. 

He retired from the United States Postal Service after 28 years of service as Postmaster in Gaston. 

Lewis was a United States Army Veteran, one of the founders and a Lifetime Member of the Gaston Lions Club, a longtime member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church in Gasburg, VA, served on the Northampton County ABC Board for 32 years, and dearly loved to travel with his family, especially to the beach.

Lewis is survived by his loving wife; Jean Baird Vincent, his daughter; Pamela V. Edwards and her husband John of Gasburg, his son; Steven Lewis Vincent and his wife Tracy, a sister; Annie Pearl Robinson, grandchildren; John Wood Edwards III, Ethan Lewis Vincent, Steven Andrew Vincent, Tanya Huddleston and her husband Joe, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Private Graveside Services will be held at Cedarwood Cemetery with Minister Greg Hand officiating.
