Muriel Eron Knight, 99, passed away peacefully Sunday 17th January 2021 in Roanoke Rapids NC.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ashby E. Knight Sr., her parents Earnest Franklin Allsbrook and Eron Pope Allsbrook and her 4 brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her children Ashby Knight (Judy), Frankie Knight (Marsha) and Muriel Ann Thompson.

Mrs. Knight had 8 grandchildren, Lisa, Gary Mandy, Sammy, Christie, Jamie, Holly, Heidi, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

She accepted Christ at Calvary Baptist Church earlier in life.  She later became a member of First Baptist Church serving for many years as a devoted servant teaching children, adults, and helping with visitation.

She loved working at Glovers Fabrics for many years until retirement.

She resided at Carolina Rest Home the past 10 years where she spent much of her time coloring pictures, reading her Bible, playing bingo and enjoying visits from her family and friends.  We want to thank Carolina Rest Home, staff and employees, for caring for Mrs. Knight.

Arrangements are being handled by Wrenn Clarke & Hagan Funeral Home.  

A Graveside Services will be held at Cedarwood Cemetery on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 12:00 noon. The family will receive friends after the Graveside service.
