Marvin Lee Harrell, Jr., of Roanoke Rapids, died Tuesday Aug. 3, 2021, at the home of his daughter, Doris Driver, of Garysburg, NC.

Mr. Harrell was born in Scotland Neck, NC, son of the late Marvin Lee Harrell, Sr. and Allie Braddy Harrell. He was a veteran of the US Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Pat) Jenkins Harrell and a daughter, Crystal Lee Harrell.

Surviving are two daughters, Doris Driver and her husband, Kevin, of Garysburg,NC, Julie Bryant and her husband, Mark, of Roanoke Rapids; two sisters, Shelby Riley and Linda Hale, both of Destin, FL; grandchildren, Jennifer, Alex, Shelly, Alan Michael, Shannon, and Cody; great grandchildren, Brayden, Iris, Colton, and Eric, Olivia, Trinity, Kay Lynn, Jason.

A Memorial service will be held Friday, August 6, 2021, at 7:00 pm at Valley Community Church, 1215 Julian Allsbrook Highway, Weldon, NC with Pastor Jamie Taylor-Fillinger and Tom Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church following services.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Valley Community Church.
