Michael Wayne Padgett, 69, of Roanoke Rapids, NC, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at his residence.

Michael was born in Roanoke Rapids, NC, the son of the late Jesse Lee Padgett and Estelle Massey Padgett. 

He was a retired Supervisor with the textile mills in Roanoke Rapids, NC.

He is survived by: a daughter, Natalie Renee Conte of Charlotte, NC; two sons, Michael J. Padgett of Charlotte, NC and Michael J. Johnson of Gaston, NC; a sister, Debra P. Francis and her husband, Tommy, of Roanoke Rapids, NC; a brother David L. Padgett of Roanoke Rapids, NC; two grandchildren, Ava Conte and Radley Padgett, both of Charlotte, NC, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held in Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids, NC, Tuesday September 21, 2021, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Jeremy Kobernat officiating.
