Isaac Peterson, 81, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. 

Isaac was the son of the late Ira Richard Peterson and Susie Scott Peterson. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Mack Peterson, Al Peterson, sisters, Ruby Peterson, Lorene Polk, and Polly Odom. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Peggy Peterson, brothers, Linwood Earl Peterson, Kenny Bruce Peterson, and Sidney Daniels. 

He has a special niece Betty Brown who he helped raise since 9 months old. Two kids like grandkids, George Stegall IV, and Courtney Moseley and many nieces and nephews.

Isaac loved John Deere and driving tractors. He and Peggy liked going to auctions together. Isaac was a farmer and enjoyed working in his garden. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 12:00 pm with Dr. Dennis W. Gregory Sr. at Wrenn Funeral Home. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery.
