Claudia Gail Edwards Wallace, 79, born June 19, 1944, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday August 2, 2023. 

She was the daughter of the late Ray and Jeanette Edwards. 

Gail is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Wallace, and sisters, Nira Wright, Linda Edwards, and Peggy Edwards. 

She is survived by her sons, Russ Wallace (Cheryl) and Gary Wallace (Gail), grandchildren, Morgan Gosselin (Blake) and Kaitlyn Custy (Carson), great-grandchildren, Whitley Gosselin and Cannon Custy, brother, Bill Edwards (Carol), and fur grandbaby Gus. 

Gail was a longtime member of Rocky Mount Bible Church.

A visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday August 5, 2023 at Rocky Mount Bible Church, 5630 Dortches Boulevard, Rocky Mount North Carolina 27804.

A celebration of Gail’s life will be held at 3:00pm at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina on Sunday August 6, 2023 with pastor Chris Abner and Jeff Collins officiating.
