The Roanoke Rapids Static Baseball team hosted First Responder night Sunday at Doyle Field.
The Static hosted Tarboro River Bandits with Halifax County Shiriff Davis and Roanoke Rapids Police Chief Wiggins throwing out the first pitches.
The Static fell 2-15 Sunday night at home and return home for a nonconference matchup Tuesday night at 7PM at Doyle field.
