Coaches, volunteers and lots of children beat the heat Saturday morning on the Grid Iron at Roanoke Rapids High School's Hoyle Field.

Weldon native and Duke University football standout Cedric Jones kicked off his "Cedric Jones You Can Too Foundation's First Annual youth football camp.

The You Can Too Foundation, a charitable organization started by former Duke football standout and Weldon native Cedric Jones hosted the camp. Many of Jone's friends, family, former Duke players, NFL and college players and former Weldon and Roanoke Rapids high players made up his coaching staff. Such as Weldon High Alumnus, former UNC Tar Heel and NFL standout Kentwan Balmer, former Duke, NFL player and Arena Football coach Ben Bennett, Upcoming Season ECU transfer Daruis Bell, Cedric's sons and former Duke players Cameron and Colin Jones, Cedric's brother former Duke and NFL player Walter Jones Jr., former Duke and NFL player Dennis Tabron and Cedric's nephew and former Duke player Tielor Robinson to name a few and many other Foundation board members and volunteers. 

Matt Hux and wife Nichole along with Ginny Lewis have helped line things up local sponsors and get location, kids, paperwork and non coaching event staff lined up.
