Roanoke Rapids High School weekly schedule for RRHS Athletics for the week of November 26th.:
The Roanoke Rapids High School Yellow Jackets Wrestling Team opens their season this Saturday at Wilson Fike High School starting at 10:00 a.m.
This is a big ten Team Duals Tournament with schools such as Washington, Wilson Hunt, Southern Nash, CB Aycock, North Pitt, Wake Forest, Clayton, West Johnson, Wilson Fike and Roanoke Rapids.
Jackets head coach DA White stated. "We have a few starters returning from last year at 106 Harry Crewford, 120 Ethan Dixon, 132 Jacob Bouchard, 145 Christian Doisey, 152 Aaron Purser, 170 Aaron Hunter, 182 Jermey Clemmons, 220 Payton Anderson and 285 Antonio Lawrence. We do have a couple of new wrestlers in our line up at 113 Caleb Benjamin, 126 Kale Olnhausen, 138 Logan Hall, 160 Lee Given or Wallace Bowser and 195 is Ray Zelaya and have had several good weeks of practice and being in the weightroom. I hope it will pay off tomarrow.'

The Roanoke Rapids High School Yellow Jackets Cross Country team wrapped up their 2018 season on Saturday at the Ivey Redmon Sports Complex in Kernersville, NC in the 2A Stame Championship meet.
