Roanoke Rapids High School Yellow Jackets Maci Beaver finished fifth in the NCHSAA 1A/2A Women’s Individual Championship at Foxfire Resort’s Grey Fox Course.
Halifax Academy Cross Country teams ran in their CIC Championship Meet this past Friday, October 19, 2018.
The girls team finished 2nd and the boys placed fifth. All runners had good races and many set season personal records.
The girls were led by Morgan Hudomint, Amber Markham, and Abby Fleming.
The boys were led by Thomas Garrett, Jacob Harris, Kris Carter, and Ted Fleming.
The Vikings will return to action for the NCISAA State Championships on October 26, 2018.
